About the Artist — Sangi Art Studio

I'm Sangeetha Rajendraprasad, the artist and creator behind Sangi Art Studio, based in Ireland.

My art is my way of turning feelings, memories and little moments of life into something that can be seen, felt and treasured.

I am drawn to colour, flowers, cottages, gardens, family, childhood and the quiet emotions that connect us to the people and places we love. My paintings often combine vibrant colours with expressive brushwork and storybook-like scenes, creating worlds that feel familiar yet a little magical.

My inspiration comes from the simple things that often mean the most — a family gathered in the garden, a child learning something for the first time, flowers blooming outside a cottage, a peaceful countryside afternoon, or the feeling of finding your way back to yourself after a difficult season.

Every painting has a story.

My collections are created around emotions, memories and experiences.

The Hearth Series

The Hearth Series celebrates home, family, childhood and belonging — the memories, people and little moments that make a house feel like home.

It is about warmth, connection and the places we carry in our hearts, wherever life takes us.

The Let Go Series

The Let Go Series explores freedom, dreams, self-discovery and becoming yourself again.

Through feminine figures, flowers and flowing landscapes, I tell stories of learning to breathe, releasing what no longer serves us, holding onto our dreams and finding our way back to ourselves.

It is a reminder that sometimes letting go is not about giving up — it is about making space for who we are becoming.

The Wonder Collection

The Wonder Collection is inspired by the magic of seeing the world with curiosity again.

It celebrates those little moments that make us pause, look closer and remember how beautiful life can be — a child discovering something for the first time, the unexpected beauty of nature, a peaceful garden, a dreamy landscape or a moment that fills the heart with possibility.

This collection is about curiosity, imagination, joy and the sense of wonder that lives within us, even as we grow older.

Because perhaps growing up doesn't mean we have to lose our ability to wonder.

Sometimes, we simply need to slow down enough to notice it again.

More Than Something Beautiful

I want my paintings to do more than decorate a wall.

I want them to make you feel something.

Perhaps a painting reminds you of a place you once called home.

Perhaps it brings back a childhood memory.

Perhaps it represents a dream you are still holding onto.

Perhaps it reminds you that it is okay to let go and begin again.

Or perhaps it simply makes you stop for a moment, smile and breathe.

That is what connects all three of my collections:

The Hearth — home, family and belonging.
Let Go — freedom, dreams and becoming yourself.
Wonder — curiosity, imagination and joy.

They are different stories, but they all come from the same place — the human experience of feeling, remembering, dreaming and finding beauty in everyday life.

Why I Create

I believe art has the ability to hold memories.

A painting can become part of a family's story — something that stays on a wall for years and eventually becomes part of another generation's memories.

That is what I hope to create with every original artwork from Sangi Art Studio: pieces filled with colour, emotion and meaning that feel personal to the person who brings them home.

Each original is painted by hand and is one of a kind. Small variations, visible brushwork and the character of the paint are part of what makes an original artwork unique.

My hope is that when one of my paintings finds its way into your home, it becomes more than something you bought.

I hope it becomes something you feel.
Something you remember.
Something that becomes part of your story.
